Introduction to Somatic Mindfulness

Do you feel stuck? Do feelings of stress or anxiety impact your daily life? Do you wish to live a more peaceful life with a regulated nervous system? Somatic Mindfulness might be just what you need!

We often find ourselves feeling stressed or anxious without really knowing why or how to stop those feelings. Utilizing the Stillpoint Method, you will be taught how to recognize the signs and sensations of Nervous System Disregulation and being in “Survival Mode” and learn tools to help you return to regulation and live a more peaceful life.

In this Introduction to Somatic Mindfulness, you will learn how to recognize when you are stuck in Survival Mode and how to bring yourself out through breath practices, gentle movement, and meditation. This workshop will include an introductory session into Somatic Inquiry and practices to help you with nervous system regulation. This is a low movement workshop.

Due to the nature of Somatic Inquiry, this workshop is only recommended for persons 18 years of age and older.
